Across the pond has shown me love yet again.
Big props to the novoctane crew for keeping it fresh and showing me whats hot in Euro land.
My most recent creation. It’s official I need a 5d mark ii.
Face to a name
Or in this case, a car to a part of it I have posted.
This is Pete’s Ride dubbed “The Mistress.”
Lots of fun stuff with this car. I wont bore you with details. But lets say there is something from 1995 under the hood.
Took this pic circa June 2010 outside the hat factory. For more info on the hat factory. www.hatfactory.wordpress.com

This is an Oil pan on a swapped BMW E30 vert belonging to my friend Pete. More Car Art stuff, just another collaboration between Pete and I.
When ever I set out to make some “Car Art” I find is necessary for the piece to still be functional. I know that some traditionalists might say the purpose of art is to not be functional. But I like my work to be a part of a bigger piece of art. And that’s the rolling blood, sweat, and tears that is someones car. Modify your car, and make it beautiful.
broreillyy: Hey,
Since you are mates with the guys from ziptied, any idea when they will be restocking? I'm from the land down under and keen for some clothing :D
Yeah I can talk to Adam and Nick. Which shirts are you looking for?
Edit: Since I can’t figure this out. I’m replying here again.
Good choice I’d love to see memories of my old motor down under!! I just talked to Nick. He said they should hopefully start printing again in the next week or so. Also, I haven’t seen anything yet but I hear there should be some new ones coming out!
The crew over at Novoctane based out of Europe just surprised me with some love!!
If you want to stay up to date on whats happening across the pond I suggest you check them out regularly.
Much love to VonMonster Gino in Portugal.

Digital Art
Here is some favorites I have made with a still camera.

ziptie clothing
“The morning sun rises over a serene, undulating river of tarmac, glimmering like the ripples of an early tide. Orange light hugs the shadows edge, gliding down the observation towers and across the paddock. Birdsongs are swallowed by the howl of tuned exhausts as the engines breathe the morning mist of the infield; inhaling fuel and igniting the day. Cacophony rises then falls like the brass and strings of an abating symphony in the passion of the pursuit.
This is for the drivers.”
This is what it say’s when you read ziptie clothing’s page.
My first memory of this company that stands out was when Nick and Adam (creators of the shirts), were them pulling my engine out of my AE86 as I came home unassuming. I walk in the garage, “What you guys doin there?” I say as they are hoisting the engine out of the engine bay, while oil pours out from my oil cooler onto the floor. “I looked online and couldn’t find a picture with the right angle of a 4AGE motor, so we decided to pull yours.” Nick says. Then as they position it. Getting the lighting right and making a back drop. My engine went from being a thing that only I and anyone looking under my hood enjoyed to Something I saw a girl I didn’t know wearing my engine on her shirt. Definitely a cool moment.
My motor apparently fit the bill for their zip tied inspired clothing company as it was famous for the neon pink zipties holding the vacuum lines on.
Here are some of the other shots, and the final t-shirt product.
They have many more shirts that are much cooler than my pink 4AGE on their website. You can check them out @ www.ziptieclothing.com.
I’m personally digging the Rotary heart and the spark plug T’s! The shirts are very good quality, ZipTie Clothing is designed around those that share our zeal for motorsport. Each piece they produce is an active search for the link between driver and machine; links that cannot be bound by tire walls, K rails or catch fences and motivate the very soul of every enthusiast.
Also a small video from these guys. http://vimeo.com/3607289
So I’m hanging out at my friend “Verbs” house one night. He has a recording studio in the basement. He says to me, “Rion man I’m tired of all this serious rap sh!t. I know you have some random idea.” I thought about it for a second and asked him if he remembered the Labyrinth movie that starred David Bowie’s Package. Well 45 minutes later this song was unveiled to the world.
Click the title of this post to be taken to the song among others I have the pleasure of introducing to the internet.

This is a page dedicated to sharing with the world the many random and different things I get my mind, hands, and sweat into.
